Methodology

Methodology

How Comparello evaluates software, handles affiliate links, and keeps recommendations grounded.

Editorial principles

Comparello publishes editorial software comparisons for small businesses, creators, freelancers, agencies, and lean teams. Recommendations are based on visible product information, pricing pages, product documentation, positioning, and practical suitability for the use case in question.

Comparello does not publish fake reviews, fake testimonials, fake aggregate ratings, or invented benchmark results.

Product selection

Products are selected when they are relevant to the online business stack and when the available public information is enough to make a useful early editorial comparison.

Last checked policy

Pricing, limits, and feature sets change. Last checked dates are there to show when a profile or comparison was last reviewed, not to guarantee that a vendor has not changed something since then.

Sponsored placement policy

Sponsored placements may be added later, but sponsorship must not automatically determine recommendations or rankings.
